Caffe Lusso Roastery

Philip Meech has been in the Seattle coffee world since 1994, and in 2000 talked his dad into converting part of the family garage into a roastery. Within a year he won a tasting competition. Within two, he outgrew the garage. Caffè Lusso has been pioneering direct trade sourcing ever since, building relationships with farmers that now span more than 15 years. Philip's approach is rooted in Italian coffee tradition: Lusso means "luxury," and every coffee is hand-roasted to highlight the unique nuances each farm has to offer.
