Founded in 2016 as the official roaster for the James Beard Award-winning bakery, Coffee Manufactory now supplies every Tartine location from San Francisco to Seoul, roasting with sweetness and balance as the north star. Their sourcing is direct, their supply chain transparency is verified by research partners at MIT, University of Michigan, and SCS Global, and their Cloud Roasting process uses a gas-fired vortex to produce cleaner, gentler, more aromatic results than traditional drum roasting.
