Zoka Coffee

Zoka Coffee Roasters has been shaping Seattle's specialty coffee scene since roasting their very first batch in the fall of 1996. When they opened their Greenlake coffeehouse on January 7, 1997, their mission was simple: fresh roasted coffee, talented baristas, and a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere. Nearly three decades later, that mission hasn't changed. Their name says it all — Zoka means the rebirth of the coffee tree in Colombia, the moment after a thorough pruning when the tree grows back stronger and more productive than ever. National Barista Champions in 2002 and 2005, Roast Magazine's Macro Roaster of the Year in 2008, Good Food Awards finalist, and USA Today's top ten great places for caffeine and conversation. Countless PNW coffee professionals earned their stripes here first. In the cup, expect reliable, beautifully crafted coffees with the warmth and character of a true Seattle neighborhood institution. Start Here: Fitzroy Blend, one of Zoka's original Central and South American blends and their second bestseller. Dark chocolate syrup, ginger molasses cookies, and a soft smoky finish as cozy as a fireplace on a rainy Seattle night. Makes an exceptional cold brew too.
